Flavor, Culture, and Tradition just steps from Hotel Caporal
What is Gusta Minori and why you can't miss it
Every late summer, the seaside village of Minori transforms into an open-air stage where flavor marries art: it is Gusta Minori, the most anticipated cultural and gastronomic event of the Amalfi Coast. It is not just a simple festival, but a true celebration of Campania's tradition, capable of uniting the culinary excellences of the area with spectacular itinerant theatrical and musical performances
For a few days, the streets, alleys, and squares of the town come alive with irresistible scents, lights, and melodies, offering visitors a 360-degree sensory experience rooted in local history.
In 2026, the event will celebrate its 30th anniversary. A unique event in its kind that has profoundly changed the way of performing, promoting culture, and enhancing the territory. Born as an innovative idea, the event has grown over the years and has managed to combine art, tradition, music, and gastronomy, transforming into an immersive experience that turns the town into an open-air stage.
What makes Gusta Minori unique is its cultural formula. The historic center becomes a natural backdrop for itinerant theatrical performances, musical performances, and historical reenactments in costume. The scenes, written and directed by prominent directors and artists, tell the myths, legends, and seafaring stories of the Amalfi Coast, guiding visitors on a journey through time between one tasting and another. From the evocative atmospheres of the Roman Villa to the waterfront, art and culture can be felt in every corner, creating a magical and festive atmosphere that is unmatched elsewhere.
The Caporal Hotel is located in a strategic position in Minori, just a few steps from the heart of the celebrations and the culinary path. You can experience the magic of Gusta Minori and, in one minute, retreat to the comfort and tranquility of your room.
